Terror

Tony Friend, now going by the moniker ‘Terror’ is probably best known for his previous position as the masked DJ, guitar player and producer for the North London Dubstep group Modestep. After almost a decade on the road alongside his brother, releasing with multiple labels and headlining festivals and touring all over the globe, they parted ways so that Tony could work on his own music. 

The name Terror may sound aggressive, but his style of production is anything but, with intricate attention to detail and surprising amount of musicality, Terror brings something fresh and new to the world of drum & bass. 

His first single as a solo artist ‘Feels The Same’ features the swelling vocals of Obi Franky and is released alongside ‘Our Way’ featuring Florence Rawlings, who Friend has worked with on previous projects. This release comes hot on the heels of successful debut EP with Eatbrain, with brand new collective Clash Tone, featuring Eatbrain main man Jade, and long-time friend Joliffe, where he shows yet another side to his musical talents with a three track, neurofunk masterpiece. Now with his second release Twilight featuring the unmistakably sounds of Bristol head honcho Jakes, Terror is certainly about to make waves - watch this space.
