Blacklab
Las Vegas brothers Kashim and Kariem - aka Blacklab - were inducted into the Soulvent family with a feature on the ‘New Soul’ EP back in 2016. Since then, they’ve been carving their sound from across the pond, turning heads and earning a string of subsequent releases along the way.
Although relatively new to releasing music, the duo has already gained attention from established music outlets such as Hospital Records and The EDM Network. In the same year they debuted on Soulvent, the brothers played their first festival set at EDC Las Vegas after winning the Discover Project, further demonstrating their drive for the craft.
The two have seen a handful of liquid tracks featured on Friction's BBC Radio 1Xtra as they progress into their sound and continue to add show support for international headliners to their list of achievements. They love dedicating tremendous time in the studio, tuning their productions between neurofunk and liquid-funk entertaining both sides of the dnb spectrum.
